Course Description
Design Applications using NX on NX Manager is designed
to thrust the student further up the productivity curve.As a second
tier course Design Applications using NX builds on the tools the student has deployed as
a result of attending the Practical Applications of NX course.This method-based course focuses the student on productive
modeling techniques that capture design intent in the context
of the Master Model. Delivering on that outcome, Design Applications using NX will incorporate
sketching, inter-part modeling, expression associativity and mating
conditions as a significant part of the instruction.
There will be a short introductory lesson on how to access and save files using NX Manager and the rest of the class will be the same as the Design Applications using NX taught in the native environment.

In order to provide a high quality education experience to
our customers, all students must meet the prerequisites before
attending this class.
The following are prerequisites for either the NX or NX 2 class.
For the NX 3 or later NX version Design Applications using NX class
you need to have taken the
NX 3 or later NX version Practical Applications of NX class.
- Practical Applications of NX course.
- Or successful completion of the Practical Applications of NX prerequisite assessment on the Learning Advantage Website.
- 160 hours experience with NX solid modeling.
