Course Description
Class is taught in the Teamcenter integration environment.
The NX 3 to NX 5 CAD Transition – Intermediate Topics class is for the more experienced NX 3 users transition into the new functionality of NX 5. The new visualization, curves, free form feature, shape studio, PMI, and sheet metal functionality introduced in NX 5 make up the focus of this course. The course allows for actual hands-on activity time for a real learning experience.
NOTE: The topics of this course are a subset of the five-day NX 3-5 CAD Transition course. Our intention in offering this subset of topics is to focus on specific roles and thereby reducing the number of training days required for process-specific update training.
This course is intended for all NX users including:
- Designers, engineers
- CAD/CAM managers
- Or anyone that is experienced in NX 3 and wants to learn the new functionality in NX 5
Intermediate
In order to provide a high quality education experience to our customers; all students must meet these prerequisites before taking the class.
