Course Description
Class is taught in the Teamcenter integration environment.
The NX 3 to NX 5 CAD Transition – Essential Topics class is for the general NX 3 users transition into the new functionality of NX 5. The new gateway, general modeling, sketcher, features, assemblies, and drafting functionality introduced in NX 5 make up the focus of this course. The course allows for actual hands-on activity time for a real learning experience.
NOTE: The topics of this course are a subset of the five-day NX 3-5 CAD Transition course. Our intention in offering this subset of topics is to focus on specific roles and thereby reducing the number of training days required for general update training.
This course is intended for all NX users including:
- Designers, engineers
- CAD/CAM managers
- Or anyone that is experienced in NX 3 and wants to learn the new functionality in NX 5
Intermediate
In order to provide a high quality education experience to our customers; all students must meet these prerequisites before taking the class.
