Course Description

I-DEAS
ELECTRONIC SYSTEM COOLING (ESC)
course code MDA230
duration 5 days
tuition $2300 (US)

The I-deas NX Electronic System Cooling (ESC) course provides students with comprehensive instruction in the use of I-deas ESC to model 3D fluid flow and heat transfer in mechanical and electronic systems. Students will learn the skills necessary to carry out sophisticated Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis quickly and easily, including geometry construction and manipulation, meshing, fluid flow and heat transfer modeling, boundary condition application, solution setup, post-processing and model validation. The course deals with both theoretical and practical aspects of how the software formulates and solves fluid flow and heat transfer problems, and includes a variety of examples and tutorials addressing a wide range of applications.
