Course Description
I-deas Part Design provides a focused treatment of mechanical part design, starting with an overview of the design tools and user interface. The course then covers model file management, wireframe and solid geometry construction tools, modification techniques, reference geometry, the use of relations, fundamentals of troubleshooting, and integrated data management. In addition, the course provides an introduction to surfacing and coverage of tools for pattern and feature creation.
